A Zimbabwean ISP, Valley Technologies, has lost its operating licence with the country's telecoms industry regulator saying it had failed to meet statutory requirements.

ITWeb Africa reports that the Posts and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) said Valley Technologies' operating licence had been cancelled earlier this month because it failed to make licence and spectrum fee payments. Alfred Marisa, the deputy director-general for Potraz, had written to Valley Technologies CEO Zachary Wazara, requesting that the company pay its licence and spectrum fees amounting to about $2.4m.
