Military police are investigating whether Major-General Noel Ndhlovu ‘gifted’ his wife, a former SAA cabin attendant, defence contracts worth R210m. A Sunday Times report says the investigation follows a series of online selfies showing Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu and her husband flaunting their lavish lifestyle. The military police are investigating suspected fraud and corruption in contracts awarded to Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu's company, Umkhombe Marine. Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu is also accused of falsifying documents and forging a signature in one of her submissions. A detailed account of the contracts and how they were landed, as well as Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu’s response to the allegations is run in a City Press report.
