The vice-president of the Burundian Football Association has been arrested over the alleged disappearance of bonus money for the national team players who competed in the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) tournament in Egypt. BBC News reports that Aimable Habimana is being questioned over the undisclosed amount of money. A member of the Burundian FA, who preferred to stay anonymous, confirmed the arrest. Burundi, which was taking part in its first Afcon finals, was eliminated in the group stage.
